The Georgetown University Round Table on Languages and Linguistics (GURT) Archive provides material has been made available through a partnership of Digital Georgetown, Georgetown University Press, and the Department of Linguistics.
Volumes in this series feature annual collections of selected essays from the Georgetown University Round Table on Languages and Linguistics. Held each year in Washington, D.C., GURT brings together distinguished linguists from around the world to explore the newest trends and theories in linguistics and language education.
The purpose of this website is to provide digital content of selected GURT volumes to scholars and students of Georgetown University. Visitors are able to view that volume�s entire contents or individual chapters in PDF format.
As new volumes are published, they will be added to the digital archive. Past and current volumes can also be purchased from Georgetown University Press.

In association with Special Collections, this online gallery replicates the experience of viewing the original envelopes in their native order as a bound collection.
Envelopes include Union and Confederate propoganda imagery and offer a first-hand look into our nation's history through the eyes of American soldiers.
